How are performance scores generated?

TV Labs' performance algorithm is publicly posted. The data behind each score is generated daily by running tests on real TVs. Each app is tested at least 10 times on each device and then the median is used to generate the baseline. More information on percentiles for each test run can be found by clicking on the data on the detail page for a given day. I'm not seeing my app listed

We're happy to add you. Contact us and we'll add you to the leaderboard within a few days.

What devices are supported?

Our system supports all TVs and devices, however right now we are only publishing data on LG, Samsung and Vizio. We'll be releasing more devices periodically. If you have a specific device that's of importance to you contact us and we're happy to add it to our roadmap.

What does leaderboard.tv cost?

Basic access to leaderboard.tv is free! If you are interested in our premium features, additional devices, custom metrics, alerts and automation contact us for an Enterprise account.

Can I opt-out of the leaderboard?

The data displayed publicly is generated using data available to the public and is meant for research and journalistic purposes. We believe that by publishing this data the whole streaming market will improve. But contact us, we're happy to chat.
